Butter Up started with one simple belief: everyone should be able to bake something delicious. So we created a friendly baking academy and essentials store where you learn hands-on, get the right tools, and enjoy fresh bakes delivered to your door.
From a Home Kitchen to Chennai’s Friendly Baking Academy
Butter Up began with a simple idea: baking classes should be hands-on, friendly, and genuinely useful. Instead of scary "academy" jargon, we wanted people to learn to bake cookies, cakes, buns and pizza—and actually do it at home.
So we built a warm, fully-equipped academy in the heart of Tharamani, now with branches in Tharamani and Porur. Every class is led by our coach, Shakira Begam, who teaches each batch personally. Small, friendly batches, everything provided, and you take home everything you bake. We also turned our academy into a one-stop shop for baking essentials and fresh bakes.
Today, 500 happy home bakers across Chennai have learned to bake with us—from first-time cookie bakers to parents baking birthday cakes for their kids.
